This tread may be of interest to every Protestant because at some point in time you became a Protestant or after being a Protestant you have become something else, e.g. Catholic, Orthodox etc
After I was converted it was a couple of years before I set foot in a Protestant denomination. Now I didn't know what a denomination was nor what a Protestant was. Five years later I was an Evangelical, mainly through association with evangelical Protestants and reading Evangelical literature. At no point in time did I decide to become an evangelical nor was I converted to Evangelicalism.
Similar story with becoming Reformed - that was also by association and reading Reformed literature.
Next followed ceasing to be a Protestant with the literal understanding of the Eucharist. Now while I say I am becoming Orthodox I am not a member nor do I attend Orthodox fellowships - call me non-affliated if you like.
So how about others? What is your story and how did that come about.
