Before the Beginning, there was GOD (GENESIS1:1). And i believe HE was ALL
THINGS and PLACES. Furthermore, since GOD IS LIGHT, and in HIM is no darkness at
all (1JOHN1:5), then i believe all was LIGHT before GOD began to create. This LIGHT
being that same described in 1 TIMOTHY 6:16. However, after GOD first began to
create, after HE had created the HEAVEN (singular), and the earth, there then
existed a place filled with LIGHT where GOD IS, and a place where HE was not
(GENESIS 1:2). Then it must be the case that the first earth was a dark spot
surrounded about by LIGHT of GOD. OF course, all thing created are made from
that very first dark material (waters) (GENESIS 1:6-31; 2:1-2), except for the LIGHT
which always was, which is GOD.
