So there you have it, reports straight from the battlefront to here. This thread is also to welcome comments and concerns along with the given assurance that your Staff stands at the ready.

Please do understand that although we recognize the need to distribute this information, ADMINS are very busy little bees at the moment. Kindly direct questions to your friendly local neighborhood Staff dude or dudette as the case may be.

Is this where CFnet goes behind the moon and we lose contact with it until it reemerges on the other side?

I saw that in a movie once.
 
It's close to that... but

There are stages involved.
  • The first is a test stage where the new software is set up. Stovebolts is working on that now.
  • Then after the set-up, the Mods are asked to come in and do some "testing".
Nothing mystical there: "Can you log in?" and "Can you change your PW?" and "Can you Edit a Post?" and "Can you delete/move a post?" <---- testing

Then ... when the Greenies are trained, another data move is made. That means another shutdown. This last one for the export didn't take long at all. Keep your fingers crossed for the real move, prayers are requested too!

But before that, another announcement.
But that's not, 'IT'S COMING" that time...
We start sending PM's out and doing Annuncemantlers and Noticifiacations.

The old address is forwarded and a landing page is created.

Members are welcomed to their new site. The ship sets sail and Sparrow takes his place on the deck, in the lounge chair, looking for a orange juice with ice and a little umbrella...

Peace settles upon our membership as Jesus is invited to come and dine with us. Heaven answers and we are blessed.
