1.Indians put rangoli in front of the door. Does the bible say anything abt it?
2. We cover our head while praying.. how important is it now?
3 Can I choose a gender and pray..like... God pls bless me a baby boy as I already have a girl.
Has anyone in the bible given importance to 'BOYS" while praying for a baby

Hello heyma,
1. Nowhere that I can find and 2. this was an important tradition of a time when, everywhere in the world, women were considered chattel. When we look at the scriptures we see in;
1 Timothy 4:7 ESV
Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness;
So, this is a personal matter that only you and God can answer but you must, it appears to me, ask yourself, does covering my head bring me closer to God or is it an ancient tradition that is not helping me to serve God and then, no matter the answer, do not become legalist with it and impose what the Spirit has given to you as a must be rule for all.

Now, about that son, the scriptures teach us to persist so, if I were you, I would pray without ceasing for a boy child.
