Why does curiosity get the best of us? Why are most of our curiosities lead to sinful acts? I know we're not perfect, but why is it that sometimes we know something is a sin, but we do it anyway because the curiosity sometimes dominate us? Is this making any sense?:crazy

The same thing happened to Eve in the Garden of Eden....Even a child is curious.. Just look at a child ....you say don touch it and you go your way, hide and take a peek and the child will look to see if you are watching and will touch whatever you told them not to....this curiosity is part of learning...many scientists out of curiosity found out how things work. This is a natural thing within humans...but when we are admonished in the scriptures not to do X or Y, we must be WILLING to take God at his word....trying to be curious when we know something is wrong is nothing more than rebellion.

Curiosity is not a sin. Sin is doing that what you know is wrong, and curiosity is merely being inquisitive about something.
When a person becomes a Christian they live for righteousness, and our heart is set on the Lord and upon the things above. Amen? Amen.

Very true. You both have enlightened me. I find it quite amazing to receive information from wiser individuals.
