Any thoughts on the Family Guy??? I think the show is hilarious!!! But there is SO much anti-religious banter in it....doesn't bother me at all, because people have their own rights to believe what they want. But I was wondering what you all thought about it....
 
Just like I said...everyone is entitled to their opinions...but the show is quite clever if you pay attention. Funny I used to dislike it quite a bit until I actually paid attention. Those writers are brilliant!
 
Why would I, as a Christian, "pay attention" to a show that recommends adult supervision? A wise man once told me, if the devil gets you to laugh at sin, he's got you. I believe in a God that tells us to hate sin and love holiness. I'm not saying I succeed all the time, or only watch "holy TV", but if I know something is going to ridicule marriage and other family relationships whiile degrading sex and relying on toilet humor to gain some laughs, I'm going to stear clear.
