Hebrews 12:4 In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
and
1Cor 10: 12 So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!
13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted[d] beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Note the implied rebuke in both verses, that we either Do Not resists temptation or do Not take the way out that God has provided.
What is the way out? to simple walk away and do something else.
