Reading this book has given me a lot of information about how much the bible actually speaks about the "things that are above". Col 3:2 states that we are to set our minds on the things that are above. As I read that the other day, I asked the Lord, how can we do that when we don't know what "things" are above?. Shortly thereafter I found this book at my library. I believe it was an answer to my question.
He touches on such subjects as "are there animals in Heaven?" "Do we remember what happened with us on earth?" "What goes on in Heaven?" "Do we have bodies in Heaven?" He quotes a lot of Scripture and everything I looked up is absolutely as he says. I am left wondering why I thought Scripture didn't say much about Heaven!
The book goes into great detail about what he calls the "present Heaven" and the "eternal Heaven". I'd rather you got the book yourself and see what he means by those terms.
This book opened my mind greatly as to what Heaven is all about. I think you will enjoy it. I recommend it.
