Nervous temptations,
Drifting away,
Wicked imaginations,
Wasting another day.

Can’t live this way anymore,
Never learning from my sins.
Just when I thought I had made it,
Hit the replay button again.

Unwilling; unvocal,
No mission for God.
Excuses…excuses,
Billowing in the sod.

Have to keep on the path,
I want to follow you Lord.
Leaving is not an option,
It’s something I can’t afford.
