I could have died, but in Jesus i live

It was so horrible back then
I tasted sin again and again
Drowning deeper in despair
All along Jesus was there

It is so horrible to backslide
cought up in my own pride
Lonelier than i could have ever been
So deep in sin and so unclean

Then oneday i looked to the sky
I saw a second chance and began to cry
God loved me so much and never let go
He loves me more than i could ever know

Death was certain with out you
but your blood helped me break through
You gave all you could give
That we may have the chance to live

Alive in you i will stay



Now here i am reborn, in God's light
Through Jesus im clean in His sight
Joy is flowing in my heart
Im staying here, never apart

Lord you are Holy, i could never repay
What you did for me on the Cross that day
I want the world to know what you did for me
Want to live your way, be what you want me to be

Praise you father, my best friend
I watch for you, with you there is no end
Let me shine your light for the lost
