as it looks like a very nice Christian site, and hoping that it is, and that I'll like my stay here.

My beliefs are very similar to Christadelphian Christianity, just so everyone is aware...... Yet, at times I do have doubts...which I feel is normal and happens from time to time.

I believe in God the Father and the Son of God, Jesus the Christ, and that he died for our sins to give us salvation and hope in the New Kingdom. I try to live according to Jesus' teaching.

Hi to all here.....

Cloudberry

Hi Cloudberry and welcome to CF.net in Jesus' name. You mention Christadelphian and that is far from the message we preach of the trinity and immortality in so much it would be near to preaching another religion. I do hope you enjoy learning of, and having fellowship with us as we all grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus.

If you haven't yet read our Terms of Service and Statement of Faith, it will give you an outline of our forum site rules and beliefs at the following URL links. I do hope you'll become an active part of Christian assembly here. :)

Thanks for the welcome. It isn't my intention to push Christadelphian Christianity on anyone, but just to answer questions that might be asked if I am able concerning their beliefs.

My desire is to discuss bible understanding, and inquire on what others think concerning their understanding of scripture. I'm not into debate, although at times I may state a disagreement, as I'm sure others do. I have read the Terms of Service and Statement of Faith, and do realize the differences. I hope to always be respectful and that it will be extended to me also. :)

Do you ask all new members to read the Terms of Service and Statement of Faith?

That's so cool! (Had to look it up to see what it looked like.... it doesn't grow in my part of the Midwest) Great choice in name!

Thanks Cloudberry. I only asked due to you making a point to mention Christadelphian. We do desire the input of different thought on certain Christian doctrines, and it gives us all an opportunity to defend the reason we believe as we do.

You stated that you are not into debate, and with the diversity of doctrines you profess to believe I do hope you can understand my concern. We do welcome you and hope you'll enjoy the fellowship we share. :)

I have to admit that I've never eaten them. Sure would like to though.

When the berries are ripe, you should give 'em a try. The berries look a lot like raspberries, so they should go pleasantly on ice cream, in fresh salads, jellies & jams & preserves .... tasty thoughts!

Cloudberry, there is cloudberry preserves advertised online if you'd like to try it. It is rather expensive but not prohibitive. I hope you like it as from what I have read it seems it might be an acquired taste. :)

I read your terms and statement of faith at the very beginning, and I am not here to mislead anyone, which is why I felt that I should state my position. I respect your right to your beliefs, and all those here to theirs, but I would like to be respected in return, and didn't feel that I was when I saw that others that are new here were not asked to do the same; that I will not likely be treated the same as others here.....maybe this isn't the place for me. I saw the thread on Christadelphians and that there were posts on it and thought that I could help a little in giving a better understand of their beliefs for those that ask, since most are poorly informed on the beliefs of Christadelphians. This was why I signed on...... At the moment I do not feel welcome...... I need to re-think my being here....

Sorry you feel that way Cloudberry, but if you came in announcing that you wanted to preach other religions such as atheism, Catholicism, Jehovah Witnesses, or Mormonism I do believe you'll find our rules have certain restrictions much like starting a thread "Ask the Atheist." I do apologize if I have offended you, and that was certainly not the intent. We do have a sub forum in the Apologetics & Theology forum where 1 on 1 debates are allowed if you find someone interested. Thanks.

I never said that I came here to preach anything or to debate. Just to discuss the bible, and explain what they do and do not believe if asked. To answer questions on them, just as I'd hoped that if I asked questions about your faith I'd receive answers. You've mis-understood from the start. I mentioned that my beliefs are similar to the Christadelphians because I felt that it was the right thing to do. If you do not wish there to be discussion on Christadelphians then please remove the thread by that name.

I have no way of knowing what I'm allowed to say or discuss anymore.......after barely having been here. I'm leaving, for awhile at least.

You have a very nice site, and I have enjoyed my exchange with Sourberry and AirDancer.. Thanks to both of you very much for your warm welcome, and may God bless you richly.
