Marburger said parents have become “too disrespectful.” She said their children are even worse.

Several generations have now been trained up by unbelievers.

She pointed out that she spent her own money to buy supplies because she doesn’t have a classroom budget.

Here't the thing, people are not willing to pay additional taxes. They just voted for a tax trim, and this is the trend. In addition, bankers continue to confiscate purchasing power from state revenue (inflation). This leaves states with fewer resources to work with, and bankers additional stuff in their pockets.

To solve these issues, children need to be trained up to respect the Lord, and we need honest money.

Love the security cameras at that school.

I know, you would think that all of the schools in America would do that after all of the shootings that have occurred so far. It's the next step in the right direction for sure. Sorry it took me such a long time to respond to this by the way, but I've had alerts going off every five seconds lol

I know the feeling. Lots of people are talking today. Very interesting conversations.

I know but like I said before it's a start. At least they can react better if the perps are spotted on camera first.

This one prong of a plan may prove to be helpful at some point but that depends on secrecy. Someone trying to be a mass shooter can just shoot cameras out.

My point is a question of priorities. Money should go to keeping perps out first, as that's the most effective short-term way to fix the problem. Once everything that can reasonably be done about that is in place, then I'm still not sure security cameras are a good second priority. This school is also at least talking about hiring more "resource officers," which are armed guards. Those do more to stop someone that's made it inside than a camera does.

It's just a question of a limited budget, and what you can do with it.

What really bothers me with all this is nobody's even looking at what schools themselves do to contribute to the problem.

Money should go to keeping perps out first, as that's the most effective short-term way to fix the problem.

Not always easy if the perp is a student who is supposed to be there on a daily basis. Some schools do have metal detectors to make sure no one walks in with a gun who isn't supposed to have one.

I'm sorry that the news is SO late today but I had to go to a doctor's appointment and my usual Zumba and Yoga classes and in-between I took a walk outside since it was really nice outside today.
