Greetings,

We understand that all of God's works are done since the beginning. But this is where it's tricky b/c it's okay to say all His works WERE (past tense) done from the beginning, but not okay to say, from 'before' the beginning. If there were no Light or no Matter what of the third part of everything we know, Time? What if all there was were a tight packed energy thingy? even if there were such a thing, it simply could not be or behave like Time, as we know it. Since time may not have existed it might not be proper to say, 'before...'

So we are left with yet another conundrum. Now, let us change thinking: think about what we know about 'Dark Matter'. There is evidence of its' existance, substantial evidence even if the evidence is not technically, a 'substance,' but it is still (pardon the pun) substantial.

Briefly, there isn't enough measurable mass to balance the Big-Bang equations if we want to preserve Laws like Conservation of Matter or Conservation of Energy.

So here we are, offering a semi-plausible explanation. Dark Energy comes at no charge with this.

Consider for a moment what might happen if instead of inventing the new concept of Dark Matter and Dark Energy, what if we just called the stuff, "DARKNESS".

What then if we recall that God said He created both the Light and the Darkness. What if this stuff was more than a absence.

What if the darkness that God spoke of was a clue and it was the Substantial Non-Substance that we've been looking for.

Wouldn't that shed light on the whole thing? (Again, pardon the pun).

Cordially yours with yet another original concept. God does not tell fibs.

We will know all things. God is pouring out Knowledge upon the whole earth. And still, here we are on our knees, "Speak, Your servant hears.

The phrase, "Sic Mundus Creatus Est" translates from Latin to: "Thus the world was created.".

The age-old conflict between Science and Relgion may have just resolved.

It was both six (6) literal days just like Moses said AND as Carl Sagan once said, billions and billions of years. Yom-days by God's outside point of reference. Science-Years by ours.

Simple, right?

Barbarian thoughts please?

do keep in mind that the hebrew first book of the torah is meant to give the Hebrews a place to remember where they came from and why and how they came to be. though its more then that but the Hebrew point of origin(genesis ) is called beersherith for a reason. it is a simplistic narrative where the writer explains how man and the world was made and who did it. it is not a scientific treatise on all things but to give the first audience the idea of things they knew to look at and ponder it is God who made this? despite this i remain a young earth. we will never know nor understand how it came to be and God wants it that way. even in the hearafter it would take eons for us to begin to grasp the Eternality
