I can't really seem to figure it out. I'm not sure whether or not it's dry skin or I take too long of hot showers but lately I have redness all over my skin and I have been itching all over my body. Any ideas?

You might be washing all the moisture out of your skin.I really wish I knew what these darn rashes were! I keep itching and scratching every day!
You might be washing all the moisture out of your skin.
Try not showering for a couple of days and see what happens.
Don't use very hot water.
Moisturizing cream might only make it worse.
Don't use soap.
Use a medicated shampoo instead. (for the whole body).
Try the above. If it doesn't work, you'll have to see a dermy.
Sometimes it could be stress or nerves, but it would be in patches and not all over.
(it sounds like the showering routine).
Cold is as bad as too hot.Usually I shower every other day or couple of days but maybe I might be showering too long. I don't really like the idea of a cold shower though.

Warm.
Every other day is good. In the summer it's every day.
Try the shampoo before going to a doctor.
I suggested some.
Soap is VERY rough on the skin.
Reading up as to whether you may have leprosy, I don't think it's that.Itchy Red Rashes
I can't really seem to figure it out.
Any ideas?
Yeah. He's good at that.Thank goodness! Thanks Eugene, you never fail to put a smile on my face.:biggrin
Yeah. He's good at that.
I kind of doubt it's leprosy too!
It's not a full-body shampoo.Anyway, I was going to ask you if you know where I can find the full body shampoo.
It's not a full-body shampoo.
It's regular medicated shampoo for the hair.
Just use it on your shower sponge INSTEAD of soap.
You can buy medicated shampoo anywhere, Walmart, Amazon, etc.
Probably any supermarket.
I listed T-Gel, Selsun Blue, MG-217 and others.
Take your pick.
Try it. It definitely can't hurt.
Could be what you wash your clothes with especially if it's bio. If so try non-bio.
Washing powder, liquid or soap tablets for the machine are either bio or non-bio. A lot of people are allergic to bio detergents
See if the container says bio or non-n bio
hi. maybe switch your body wash, too? it could be something simple, like the fragrance used in your body wash.
