I didn't see a thread like this, so I thought I'd ask: what kind of music are you into? Normally I'd say "all kinds," but seeing as how that would be sort of defeating the purpose of the thread, I'll expound.

I enjoy rock, generally, from Van Halen to Five Finger Death Punch to Skillet. I like screamo, metal, rock, alternative, rapcore, and other similar genres. In fact, the only music I don't go out of my way to listen to is most rap (there are exceptions) and country (again, there are exceptions).

Feel free to post a video, as long as it keeps with the site Terms of Service. Lately I've been digging into Theocracy.

I'm trying to Christianize my musical tastes. Not that I'm far out in left field or whatever, just...since conversion, I'll listen to music, and I actually hear the lyrics (before, I was just into the *feel* of the music), and I'm thinking...wow. Secular music really doesn't have a whole lot to offer :-( Not always terrible lyrics, but often...I dunno...just not uplifting, not helpful at all.

That said, I'm into: Ladytron, Joy Division, New Order, Velvet Underground, Rolling Stones, and Nina Simone right now. Other stuff, too; those are the top ones off the top of my head.

I like soft rock,jazz but it has to have appropriate lyrics.I check the lyrics before I play a song.I like a few Christian songs too.
