Obamacare is just one fraction of the economic destruction the community organizer has damned us with.

The shoe-shine boy is a real creep, and we have 5 more years of him. THINK of what our economy will be like in 2016.

And for the umpteenth time, I always like to point out not only the economic flaws in Obama care, but the despotic implications as well that would micromanage our lives.

Take these 2 very real scenarios:

1) Everyone is mandated to have health insurance or go to jail (right now it's a fine, but break that rule often enough and I'll bet it's jail).
2) The stipulation to KEEP insurance (since these are "private" insurance companies in theory) is to obey doctor's orders. Doctor wants to drug you up because your cholesterol is too high at a negative 68 (they keep lowering it :lol so everyone "needs" drugs).

Now put two and two together. Take the drug or else risking losing your policy and in effect go to jail.

My question, and even liberals who supported the Obama care nonsense had to admit I had a good point. Is this an excuse to cram their severely erroneous medical philosophy down my throat? And in doing so, Government, being bedfellows and prostitutes of the drug companies, will have lots of drugs sold so that they make a huge profit (money and power is usually the underlying reason) at the expense of us peon public?

Everyone notice how BP, cholesterol and blood sugar numbers have been lowering to unattainable values even by healthy people the last few years? And "coincidentally" have we've been noticing the proliferation of new drugs and drugs advertised on TV the last few years that we all "need"? The most imbecilic thing I hear lately is BP 120-139 and 80-89 is "prehypertensive". There's no such thing as "prehypertensive" as each person is unique and BP varies throughout the day anyway. There is a scant amount of evidence that elevated above 140/90 CONSISTENTLY MAY increase certain health mishaps that are on the way to occurring anyway.

Being a conspiracy theorist, I say the real reason is to drug people up--- they are more complacent and obedient that way. And if you don't drug up with everyone else, to jail you go!!!

What is up with that shoe-shine boy remark again. It is a racist remark and always has been. Shows me how you really feel about people of color. You were asked before not to use that remark and here you are doing it again, what is up with you ? You have a low outlook on people of color.

I have a "low outlook" on B.O.

It was a remark of kindness, as no one with any ability of judging character would want someone as arrogant and hate-filled as B.O. within 10 feet of them.

Very good points, and we haven't even delved into the psychotropic's yet.

"Oh, your sleeping around on your spouse and got caught. Now your feeling depressed, poor you. Here, take these, they'll make you feel better. By the way, it's normal to cheat on your spouse, everybody does it. Now don't forget, take these twice a day."

I could just scream at our society sometimes...... AAAAghhhh!

This isn't about your rights Pizzaguy, it's about respecting how others take your words. Those are racist remarks that offend people of Color; even those that are against B.O.

Regardless of how you meant it, let's show some respect.

You already know that people of color don't like being called that. I remember growing up and hearing being called that. I remember being called that, and the other remark that I use to hear. Which is, a nigger can't do nothing for me but shine my shoes. Yeah I use to hear that coming up. So when you call Obama a shoe shine boy, you call all of us one. And you have to have a negative outlook on people of color, because you were asked not to make that remark before, and here you are making it again. Even though you know that there are people of color on this board.
So what you are saying is, to hell with them, I going to say it anyway. And more than anything I get the feeling from you that, it is Obama's color that is really getting under your skin, because you have this undying hate for this man, and he is nowhere near the worst president that we have ever had. I am a person of color Republican and a staunch conservative, but I will not let nobody call our president a shoe shine boy. Remember one thing he is still the president.

As I told you in a PM you have not read yet, I am directing my dislike at one person, B.O. Period.

Wrong Lewis. You can't tell what is getting under my skin, you THINK you can, but you can't.

I am so sorry for the crap directed at you that you describe (and probably as a young boy, too, which makes it even worse). But you can't hang that on me.

I have had black friends since high school, recently re-connected with one I'd not seen since 1979 on Facebook, in fact. Wonderful guy - turns out he's republican now (too bad he's not libertarian, but there's still hope).

I was SO excited when Obama was elected, I wrote a paper in college about his economic plan - which I THOUGHT was Bush's, since his website reflected most of what Bush was doing, only he wanted to do it faster. Of course, a few days after he went in, the site was torn down and replaced with his liberal baloney.

He lied all along. I thought this guy would heal the nation, being our first black pres. I thought of how he'd be an example to kids of every color, every race, every .... everything. Maybe kids would think, "hey, American IS the place of equality and opportunity". And it is.

But Obama messed it all up, by turning out to be incompetent, arrogant, snotty towards reporters and even citizens who question him.

Too bad. He'll go down in history are worse than Nixon or Carter. Such a waste.

I am TRYING to show respect, to Lewis.

But you will get no respect from me for Obama. Respect must be earned, I "loaned" B.O. respect at first, as I do with everyone. But he betrayed that respect.

Do I hate Obama? Yes. For the first time in my life, I actually hate someone - B.O. But he brought it on, not me.

Your conjecture here is based on a fear that is unsubstantiated. While I admit "Obamacare" is not the best plan, the people you vote for did everything in their power to not allow it to be the best plan, for the political purpose of later being able to ridicule it. This is disingenuous. At least Obama tries. Incidently, there's nothing wrong with being a shoeshine boy, even Jesus bends over and washes peoples feet.

I think you have me mixed up with somebody else here on the board. I never called anyone a shoeshine boy. I actually do not know what that means as it is not used here in this Pa Dutch background and region of mine.

Now, look back carefully and see that I made only one post prior to this post. Read that and lets forget the shoeshines, shall we?

My sincere apologies sir, I have responded without reading more carefully. Pray for my impatient and wreckless impulse.

Pizzaguy,

If I could offer a bit of encouraging advice.

It is very apparent the hatred you carry for Obama. Considering you once were a great supporter of His, I can see why your dislike for him is as such.

However, the issue isn't about Obama, it's about a racist remark you made toward him that offends most black people. Combine this with Obama being black (Don't correct me here either) and the racist remark carries double the weight.

So you see, please don't defend why you used a racist remark because you can't justify the means. Simply put, you might as well of told Lewis and all the other black folks out there that they are shoe shine boys because from their ears, that's what they hear.

Is it right? That's not the point. The point is, we try not of offend others out of respect for them. I'm not asking you to respect Obama, but I am asking you to respect the black community.

Now stop being such a crackerhead :biggrin

Well, I never VOTED for him, but once he was elected, I figured, well, ok... this can work.

And I really DID look on what I THOUGHT was the bright side: All the baloney about racism in the USA would FINALLY end. It was the dawn of a new beginning for us.

THINK of a little black kid in inner city where-ever. (Or even a poor white kid in the house next door). THINK of what this meant. We had MILLIONS of white people go to the polls and vote for a black man over a white man.

It was the dawn of a new age! THINK of what those little kids would see, finally, in the list of Presidents, they'd see a black face. And (I hope) it is OBVIOUS that it took MILLIONS of white people voting for him to get him elected. HOW could this not be a great day for the USA?

And I still think it was a great day.

It is just sad that he's turned out to be such:

1) A hater of white America.
2) A hater of what America stands for (freedom, individual liberty and responsibility, etc.)
3) A flaming liberal, to the point of being socialist or similar.
4) A poor leader (He could not LEAD in regards to Libya, he just followed the U.N.'s lead).
5) An overall failure. (I am beginning to think that he may actually not survive re-election. We all know that any pres not re-elected is looked at as a loser.)

This is what worries me, I think that he'll divide America more than he already has (and he has done so more than any president in recent times, even more than Nixon or Johnson).

It's all such a waste, a disaster, a shame.

Pizzaguy,
What's more important to me at the moment is that you respect the black community as a whole, and that you realize the racist slur that you typed and don't do it again.

Copish?

Understood. I don't want to offend others, or have them thinking I dislike people based on race or skin tone. (Which would be really bad, with one black and one Japanese in the family.)

But let's be clear people: Anyone who could vote for B.O. in 2012 certainly is not informing themselves well enough to cast a vote in the first place.

My extreme dislike for him will only grow more intense. I am comfortable that, as the clock ticks away, I will be part of an ever-growing crowd of the disgusted.

And may I add Nancy Pelosi (the one I believe put in the mandated clause for the health insurance) and Harry Reid. Nothing racist about any of that. They are all Leftists and that's what concerns me the most.

Obama is not alone in his crimes against the middle class, not by a long shot. I find it SO ironic that 'The party of the little guy' is so hell-bent on destroying the "little guy's" ability to earn a living.

If they do manage to collapse the economy, I wonder how it will be spun on T.V.?

They are borrowing 40 cents of every dollar they spend now. Hyper-inflation can't be far behind, if not an all-out collapse of the dollar. We'd better have faith in God, because the clowns in D.C. are sending us on a terrible ride. I sure am glad I enjoy the simple things: a nice day, hiking in the woods, a good night's sleep, etc. Soon, the simple things will be what our lives consist of.

But then, Obama and the democrats have been TELLING US that this was the goal - to lower our standard of living because we "use too much of the world's resources".

How could we NOT have seen this coming?
