Long years ago there were two playmates
One was a girl and near her stood a little boy
It was early spring when the boy bid goodbye to his playmate
His brown eyes full of loneliness…
But before leaving he and she went to an apple tree
Where he promised to her that he will be back one day
So the girl wait for him
Days turned to months and months turned to years
But the girl still keeps on waiting for him
Summer turned to winter and winter to summer again
The boy seems not to keep his promise…
Until one day the girl decided to give up and went to an old apple tree
Where she and her playmate used to play
“ Good bye I can’t wait any longer”, she said with tears in her eyes
Turning her back to leave, behold a young man standing in front of her gave her an apple
The girl was surprised and she remember that it was one apple season when her playmate left
And at last came back for it is an apple season.
