Problems and Prayer

I have the unfortunate circumstance of hardly having anyone to talk to, and the ones I can talk to often just tell me to pray....

now I'm sinful and this may very well be the cause of what I'm telling you, but things have gotten progressively worse...

I don't know where to begin, so sometimes I just bottle my problems up, now of course things can be a lot worse, but I feel like I don't have enough passion

Aren't we all sinful? I keep being told that God sees all sin the same (which I don't believe, but many do.)

I think that prayer does help, but I also think that 1/2 hour a day of bible reading sure helps, too.

I have been dealing with some similar problems that you describe - and it has pushed me to change churches. So far, so good. I have moved to a MUCH LARGER church, I thought that larger churches were "cold" and hard to settle into, but by joining the singles group, I seem to be settling in quite fast.
