My boss takes summer classes (she decided to go back after raising 2 kids) and she said that it like a regular class, only 3 times faster and 3 times more condensed.

Hope it helps.
 
Where I'm at, taking 6 credit hours of summer classes is the same intensity/speed (sometimes faster and more intense) as a full time courseload in the long semesters....For June, I took two college classes, five days a week. For me at least, it wasn't a walk in the park.
