I was tempted to quote this article from FOX News the other night, but I refrained lest people would think I'm another right-winger propagandist purveyor. So I waited until mainstream media reported the same thing .... of course they downplay this a lot because the liberal media and their other henchmen want this Obamacare, so they''ll naturally cover up the flaws and make it sound not so bad.... but this is serious.

We will see this, and I'll be surprised if the number of employers dropping health-care for their employees isn't actually near 100%. The WSJ article mentions these waivers are for the $750,000 minimum lifetime payout cap, but doesn't mention that in 2014 the provision for payout cap is eliminated. This means insurance carriers iers will be subject to unlimited payout liability, and waivers will no longer be available.

10 Health Insurance Companies Get ObamaCare Waivers -- for Their Own Employees | CNSnews.com

The Department of Health and Human Services had issued 733 waivers to the health care law to corporations, labor unions, and non-profit organizations as of Jan. 26. That was up from 222 in December 2010.

The health care law eliminates annual caps on coverage by 2014. Caps are limits, on how much an insurance plan will pay in benefits for an enrollee in any given year.

For employers that do not have waivers: In 2011, yearly caps can be no less than $750,000; in 2012, limits can be no less than $1.25 million; and caps can be no less than $2 million in 2013 before being eliminated by 2014.

The waivers allow certain companies, non-profits, and unions to impose whatever annual cap they want, essentially giving the company a privilege the rest of the country’s employers do not have.

so they will force the insurance companies out of business thus a single payer system. no thanks.:bigfrowni have no love for the tactics of the insurance companies but i hate the goverments made and pay the lowest bidder mentality even more. yes sometimes that is needed but other times you have to spend and pay for good work.my health is one of those times.

Not only businesses, but I hear also people will opt out since insurance is too expensive they will just pay the tax fine --- a lot cheaper. And with the unemployment so high, you will definitely see that. So, with less people covered, where's the improvement?

Leftists then argue that this is the reason for a national healthcare since all that money is going there anyway, so then since the health insurance is now "cheaper" to go government, it will dummy everything down to nothing. SO, either many, many people will not be covered, or if they are covered, it will be something cheap. So again, where's the "improvement" for those who say "this is the only industrial country without healthcare for everyone"? What they won't tell you is that yes, we'll somehow fix it, but will tax everyone at 50% like in Sweden or these similar countries. Capitalism will never work with socialistic and too much governmental inventions and ideas.

Oh what a tangled web we weave.
