Have any of you girls ever read or ever heard of this book?
It's basically about helping women and girls understand men and what they appreciate in a woman. It's very interesting. ;) It also covers the art of femininity (dress, manner, etc.), being a "domestic goddess," etc. The author, Helen Andelin, is a Christian and she writes from a Christian perspective. The book was written in the 70's and most likely a counter-attack against much of what the feminists were preaching. She does not encourage immodesty at all, but is definitely for modesty and sexual purity. It's a great read. Has taught me a lot about how guys think and has even helped me to understand my brothers and my dad a bit more. ;)
I definitely recommend it. If you'd like to read some reviews on Amazon, click here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/140337 ... e&n=283155
