So even after a Christian is saved and in Christ (and has Christ in them), their old nature is not justified before God.. it remains condemned.. the life of Christ in them is their justification of life.

This is why we put off the old man who is corrupt according to deceitful lusts and we put on the Lord Jesus Christ.. the perfect man..
