The message is prepared, the wax from a candle is spilled onto the roll where the scroll meets and the official's ring is pressed onto the wax.
The ring is unique to the official and there are no copies made, no counterfeits are possible.
The roll is then handed to the armed messenger who under pain of death delivers the roll to its intended recipient...
Within the heavenly vision, one of many that signals a new phase of judgement, there is a problem, who is qualified to open the roll.
The Lamb receives the roll from the hand of God and the prophetic clock starts to run.
The first four seals are opened, these are, as per Zechariah, sent by God.
Each rider describes a panorama being prepared for the next coming phase.
There is one one rider that stands out, one with scales.
A day's wage is described as being the cost of a pound of wheat.
Most have taken this to be indicative of economic collapse.
Even at minimum wage, one can by plenty of wheat...
The situation described is actually of prosperity.
The two examples are;
1. Pharaoh had storehouses built by the hebrews to store increased harvests.
2. Nazi Germany used its economic recovery to bankroll its arms buildup and the holocaust.
The fifth roll reveals the just that are at rest, yet their clamour is present.
You will remember the text that states "in the roll where its is written of me..."
God sees them as martyrs and innocents.
The sixth roll comes straight from Isaiah 2.
More to follow.
