Well, I started a thread on Palmoni ( and the 7 seals ), which ties into this topic, but so far no takers, so I will use some of my knowledge on the topic to continue this thread
~ Palmoni in the book of Daniel
פלמוני palmowniy {pal-mo-nee'} probably for 06423; TWOT - 1772a; pron AV - that certain 1; 1 1) a certain one

( This in turn is cognate to the meaning of " holy ", ( set aside ) which is then cognate to the concept of messiah being " cut off " ( keritot )
Palmoni in turn shows the connection to the
aleph-Tav in Genesis 1:1 ( Another name for Christ )
In the beginning ראשית
God אלהים
created ברא
(untranslated) את ( Aleph-Tav : Alpha-Omega : Jesus ) Strong's Hebrew 853
from Strong's Hebrew from owth
אות 'owth {oth} from 225 (in the sense of appearing); -
sign(s) , token(s) , ensign(s) , miracles ,
mark ,sign, signal )
a distinguishing mark ) banner) remembrance )
miraculous sign ) omen ) warning ) token, ensign, standard, miracle, proof
the heaven שמים
and את
the earth. ארץ
Keeping in mind that
Χ ( 600 )
Σ ( 60 )
ϛ ( 6 ) στίγμα
mark / sign
Now in the Greek NT it uses the word " Chargma " which is
very specific - [ engraving }
Let's turn to yet another New Testament verse:
Let's examine the statement in Romans, where Christ is compared to Adam { Twice in scripture, actually }
" Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come "
Romans 5:14
In the Greek concordance, it says about this word " figure " :
τυπος tupos {too'-pos} from 5180; TDNT - 8:246,1193; n m AV - ensample 5, print 2, figure 2, example 2, pattern 2, fashion 1, manner 1, form 1; 16 1)
the mark of a stroke or blow, print 2)
a figure formed by a blow or impression 2a) of a figure or image 2b) of the image of the gods 3) form 3a) the teaching which embodies the sum and substance of religion and represents it to the mind, manner of writing, the contents and form of a letter 4) an example 4a) in the technical sense, the pattern in conformity to which a thing must be made 4b) in an ethical sense, a dissuasive example, a pattern of warning 4b1) of ruinous events which serve as admonitions or warnings to others 4c) an example to be imitated 4c1) of men worthy of imitation 4d) in a doctrinal sense 4d1) of a type i.e. a person or thing prefiguring a future (Messianic) person or thing
Then we go on to Hebrews:
Hebrews 8:5
" Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to
make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things
according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount "
The Greek concordance says about this word " pattern ":
τυπος tupos {too'-pos} from 5180; TDNT - 8:246,1193; n m AV - ensample 5, print 2, figure 2, example 2, pattern 2, fashion 1, manner 1, form 1; 16 1)
the mark of a stroke or blow, print 2) a figure formed by a blow or impression 2a) of a figure or image 2b) of the image of the gods 3) form 3a) the teaching which embodies the sum and substance of religion and represents it to the mind, manner of writing, the contents and form of a letter 4) an example 4a) in the technical sense, the pattern in conformity to which a thing must be made 4b) in an ethical sense, a dissuasive example, a pattern of warning 4b1) of ruinous events which serve as admonitions or warnings to others 4c) an example to be imitated 4c1) of men worthy of imitation 4d) in a doctrinal sense 4d1) of a type i.e. a person or thing prefiguring a future (Messianic) person or thing
This makes the association between the Tabernacle, Christ, and the mark
" And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold,
the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God "
Revelation 21:3
The Levite scapegoat ( devil ) is a parallel to the Greek " Pharmekos "
The Greek concordance says:
φαρμακος pharmakos {far-mak-os'} the same as 5332;; adj AV - sorcerer 1; 1 1) pertaining to magical arts
φαρμακευς pharmakeus {far-mak-yoos'} from pharmakon (a drug, i.e. spell-giving potion);; n m AV - sorcerer 1; 1 1) one who prepares or uses magical remedies 2) sorcerer
In the Hebrew concordance, it says about " magicians ":
חרטם chartom (Aramaic) {khar-tome'} the same as 02748; TWOT - 2742; n m AV - magician 5; 5 1) magician, magician-astrologer
חרטם chartom {khar-tome'} - magician 11; 11 1) diviner, magician, astrologer 1a)
engraver, writer (only in derivative sense of one possessed of occult knowledge)
As far as the ancient paleo-Hebrew
Tav ( mark / sign / seal ) being used as a brand, I'd like to point you to chapter 3 of Zechariah:
Clean Garments for Joshua the High Priest
" And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the LORD said to Satan, The LORD rebuke you, O Satan; even the LORD that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire? Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spoke to those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And to him he said, Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with change of raiment. And I said, Let them set a fair turban on his head. So they set a fair turban on his head, and clothed him with garments. And the angel of the LORD stood by.
And the angel of the LORD protested to Joshua, saying, Thus said the LORD of hosts; If you will walk in my ways, and if you will keep my charge, then you shall also judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you places to walk among these that stand by.
Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you, and your fellows that sit before you: for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH. For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; on one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the engraving thereof, said the LORD of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day. In that day, said the LORD of hosts, shall you call every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree. "
Not only does God ask Satan:
" is not this a brand plucked out of the fire ? "
... referring to Joshua as a brand, just like the Hebrew Tav was used to mark livestock like goats and sheep
... it goes to say:
"
behold, I will engrave the engraving thereof "
...to be continued.....
