I might be able to agree or disagree with Air's assessment if the URL actually led anywhere. I get a "page not found" popup.
I notice that Reba's link was parsed, so I put this in a quote box to get around the automatic parsers on the board. if that does not work, I will post again and play around with the URL
What does this mean?

While we're talking about problems posting ...
I've attempted a few times over the last few days to post what are somewhat lengthy posts -- never been able to post any of them for the reason I'm about to discuss -- and have been confronted by an auto-response telling me the post is too long by well over 7,000 or more characters, 15,000 being the forum limit. The response doesn't make sense, even given numerous "quote-end quote" functions I've used (which I realize adds invisible characters, but not that many). I'm talking about a post that, when cut-and-pasted into MS Word, has about 4,500 characters in it, less than 1,000. When I've tried to post half the reply, splitting it into two posts, the same auto-response comes up telling me this time my post is over 30,000 characters too long. Keep in mind, this is when I'm trying to post half the reply I was attempting with the full post.
What's up with that?
If you'll reread my complaint, you'll see that doing that resulted in the forum software telling me half that post had three-point-three times more characters than the whole post did. Also, note the sentence where I detailed how cutting and pasting into MS Word gave me a character count at 4,500, even with all the "hidden" characters that direct quotes and the end of quotes. It seems as if S P A C E S are also considered as characters. My advice to you is break it into two posts and label it "Part 1 of 2" and "part 2 of 2" if you think that all of that is essential

Notice the ellipses (dots) after 'forw" and before 0500000..." When the post was originally posted, the dots were placed in the post by the software, and that is what caused the error in getting a blank page, or a "not found". By placing the correct URL (internet address) in the quotes, the computer at CF Net did not shorten the link.
