whosoever toucheth
[his wife]
shall not be innocent.
he will not spare
in the day of vengeance.
He will not regard any ransom;
neither will he rest content,
though thou givest many gifts.

Unfinished Business!
Oh David fell a long way
From his pedestal in life
but Nathan poured in everlasting light
So David's eyes were opened
and he fell down on his face
and the Good Lord returned him to his place.
Aw, but there's unfinished business.
No, the hurtin' aint done yet;
and though the shroud is torn
the shift won't be done 'til morn;
so let us carry on our business
and when payday finally comes
the reward will find the deed so
GRAVELY BORN.
PAIN IS GREATEST
WHEN MOST NEEDED:
BY A DEAD MAN
SELDOM HEEDED.

I began in pencil
For what I will describe
has escaped the knowledge
of many godly men.
How can a man fight angels,
tho dark they be?
He has the tools sure enough,
but fight what he can't see?
I know the darkness hides these
and greater is the light
but months of tearful fighting
has not revealed the night.

End of...
At the grave side
yes, time stands still,
an eternity - and the trail to it here.
A smoke, thin, like a veil
or a veil, hanging there?
Between you, and I, and all the rest.
Death the gate
where a voice was silenced
a brilliance extinquished,
...a struggle ended?
Where, how can I see you?
Never mind. The pain did not begin then.
The severance permenant,
and powerless to sever.
Sorrow attests to the bond,
but can neither be held,
nor be withheld...
