We’ll Meet Again


I wish I could tell you one more story,
Or at least laugh at one more joke.
I regret that you did not wait for me,
For now I know how it feels to lose someone close.

Our bodies may have parted,
But our souls have surely not.
As yours still rests in mine.
For whenever I think of you,
I regain peace of mind.

We’ll meet again someday,
Whether it is tomorrow or next year,
We’ll share another story or tell another joke,
And once again, we’ll be close.

For the Lord has promised,
And so have I,
I’ll see you again,
But for now,

IN LOVING MEMORY

Do not shed tears for me when you say goodbye
For I have entered a place that I will never cry
Someday you will meet with me and you too shall see
The awesome beauty that Jesus prepared for you and me
There is everlasting comfort here with no more pain
I am with all our loved ones with eternity to gain
The most beautiful singing the ear could ever hear
Voices so brilliant the angelic sounds so near
I shall never sleep again for there is no more night
Jesus is at my side making everything alright
I know that you will miss me so please do not be sad
For I am here in glory rejoicing exceedingly glad
