What would you do if your BF came to pick you up and said to your Father "I don't have enough gas money to bring your daughter home so either give me some gas money or she will need to find another way home".?
 
My daughter isn't going anywhere and he better head home and beg his own parents. I mean if he were more polite than your question suggestsm then I might be nice to enough to volunteer that I drive them for the evening, but if that's the line than he's going home until he can respect me better.
 
I'm not a female, but I wouldn't go out with him if I were.
