Why am i so indecisive or want what i cant have. I wanted to break up with my girlfriend but when i did i wanted her back. I want to join the militry but when they say i can, i back out and dont want to. It doesnt seem worth it. It loses it value. Why am i like that?
 
You say things you CAN'T have, but it sounds like the examples you cite are things you CHOOSE not to have. I was all set to talk about being content in all circumstances, rich or in want, but you're talking about decisions.

Actually, it is a struggle to lose your past. Sometimes, it is necessary to lose it in order to form meaningful relationships. If you think about it, bringing our past into relationships halts them right where they are headed. So, they cannot go there. It's strange but true. People learn how to walk by knowing they never could..
