The Stop Light Story..

The light turned yellow, just as he was approaching the set of lights. He did the right thing, stopping at the intersection, even though he could have accelerated slightly and beat the red light.


A woman was tailgating his car, was extremely furious at the car stopping, began to honked her horn, screaming in frustration, shaking her fist and giving the finger sign, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, and in the process she dropped her mobile phone, and her makeup.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up and informed her that she was being arrested. He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and placed in a holding cell.

After a couple of hours, the jailer approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects.

He said, ''I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, giving the guy in front of you the finger, and cursing at him like mad. I then noticed all the bumper stickers, such as: 'What Would Jesus Do'; 'Choose Life' license plate holder; 'Follow Me to Sunday-School', and the chrome-plated 'Christian fish emblem'---so naturally---I assumed you had stolen the car.''

Jesus says the same thing more seriously (permanently ) on Judgment Day--- about those who say they believe in Jesus, they say they have faith in Jesus , they say they worship Jesus (oh, they do, Jesus admits they do worship Him...... "with their lips" ) ....
then Jesus tells them (the multitude of 'christians') , on Judgment Day, begone from Me, I never knew you.

Jesus says just claiming to believe in Jesus or in God doesn't move Him at all without truth in the heart. Claiming and clamoring and insisting that they have faith in Him doesn't move Him one bit to let them into heaven, not at all. .... .... (and it's not just a few, no - it's "multitudes")

i don't know if God's sense of humor is weird, or what --- i think He says He laughs at the wicked who think they have pulled the wool over His eyes, who think that they are getting away with their malarkey and tomfoolery (wickednesses and sin in unrepentant lives)
