Egypt has been a land that has changed hands several times. The 3200 BC Dynasties were replaced by Persian rule in 341 BC. The Arabic influence, credited from this defeat, introduced Islam and the Arabic language.
The local military caste of the Mamluks then took position prior to the Ottoman Turks in 1517. In order to protect investments, Britain seized control over Egypt quickly after the country fell into dept, due to the world transportation hub, the Suez Canal. It was only after World War II that Egypt was able to gain full sovereignty.
Egypt is home to the Nile River and one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramid of Giza. The land also hosts a society of 94% Muslims and 6% Christian/other faiths. The population continues to quickly grow with the refugees fleeing from the surrounding areas.
Pray that the leader’s economic reform and investment strategies prove successful to the already overstressed economy and society. Continue to intercede on behalf of this region in that individuals will know and believe in the true reigning King over the land.

Pam&Chris: 2 sons, Cam(17), Aaron(20's) in a serious car accident Sun. Nov 6. Cam is fine. Aaron in ICU w severe head trauma/broken bones. Pray 4 Aarons total healing, recovery. Also, Dad Chris split bones in his knee last wk-needs healing too.
Aaron has completely recovered--he was classified as DOA by both EMTs and Emergency Care. God has enriched his life through this set back, and he is back to work and normal life. Thank you for your prayers. The family appreciated every single one.

Pray for my friend Reta to have a life changing encounter with God.
Reta has not only had a life changing encounter with God but we are now married and serving God together.
