Hi, all. My name is Michael and I was invited to come over here and have a look. I hope I can add something to the discussions here.
 
Sorry, guys, my computer kept telling me the message didn't go through.
 
I find that I have just been banned from another forum because I defended some friends. I went from their designation of "Keeper of the Faith" to banned, with no warning and no notification. I defended the rights of free speech of a couple of women who were even-tempered believers, from what I could tell. The fascinating thing is that the whole "Fig Tree Cafe" section has been removed, because that's where the thread was.

I mention this because I know at least one other member here was also banned, and might have been interested. If the moderators feel this post is inappropriate, please delete it. I did not come here to make trouble. I didn't go to the other place to make trouble, either; I was looking to learn and grow in the spirit. That is also why I am here.
 
You'll be fine Micheal. We don't really mind strong opinions, and we usually don't ban users just because of one bad post. Trust me, if we here on staff see something we don't like and it's not outrageously out of line, we usually give users a second and third chance.
