To be honest not really. Yes and No. I don't know how it caught it. It's just wenching in heavy weight on heavy gear. Alot of people use electric reels these days as well because they usually caught in deep water. You catch a massive fish and push a button and it brings it in for you, who wants to wind 300 meters of line. Lol.

Yeah and I heard that groupers can actually get bigger than that and they're very delicious as well. I've had them before when I was vacationing in Florida. I think that they're just ocean fish though because there aren't any in Ohio.

Different fish have different fighting strength. Just because each fish is big does not mean anything. Some huge fish are just heavy weight to bring in where other fish have power and are a real challenge. I mean hooking a 10lb fish can eat a 500lb fish in a fight.

And depending on what gear people use and how they fish.
