Greetings from across the bay of San Francisco, CA. I live in a nice place called El Cerrito and work about 7 miles away in San Pablo. Anyone out there that knows the area you can stop by and say hi.

As for me, I have been attending a church in Berkeley called the First Congregational Church of Berkeley which as a friend of my boss commented on and said "that it is a Nothing church." They are "Progressive Christians" with alot of crazy ideas and are not Biblically based at all. It is very sad and unfortunately I have to attend there until my mother dies years from now. My mother is not a christian either in the fact that she became an alcoholic after my Dad died in 1987. And yes, you guessed it, I live with her. Lots of fun.

As for others things, I keep busy with work but need to socialize here with others that Believe as I do that Jesus Christ is Lord of this Universe. Would love to hear from some of you and start comunicating either here or at my email address. Thanks ahead of time. Have a good weekend!

Welcome to the forum. I hope that you will find friendship and solace here - I'm sure you will. I am sorry to here about your mom. My dad was a recovering alcoholic when he passed away in 2002. So, I can understand that part of your life.
