Yeah, I haven't been online in about 3 weeks and it took me ages to find here. I thought I'd finally been banned! What gives?
 
:lol Why would you have been banned? Well, unless you successfully log into the other site, then you get banned :shrug It happened to all of us. The owner has some people working on switching the site to VBulletin instead of phpBB, and while they're testing it out they neglected to give it a different URL. So if you want to get to this forum you have to type "oldforum/" after the .net/. For some reason they named this old forum, when it's the actual forum that is in use :shrug Hopefully things will be sorted out soon, but I think when they do things are going to look a lot different.
 
Do you guys know who actually owns this forum and what their statement of faith is? Just curious.. this forum seems to have changed to me a lot over the last couple of years.
 
His name's Greg, 's'all I know....at least I think it's still Greg. After today I'm not sure if it's under new ownership or not, we haven't really heard much.
 
Well, I enjoyed the lack of the website. I got to catch up on some TV shows, then we went rollerblading and then terrorized the poor folks at Sonic's for a good hour.

I did miss it though, maybe it will be working soon? :pray

I was so scared that I had been banned, 'cause I've been on some of the other Christian forums, or should I say "Christian" forums! They scare me and for the most part are filled with very rude and intolerant atheists. We have nice atheists, like Bob. :wave

I was on another site before I came here. They made the same change and I haven't been able to log in since. I hope it goes better here, although I'm not optimistic.
 
I'm a lot more optimistic about it today, and I do thing things will smooth out. There will be changes, but no one is going to get locked out for good. If it happens, the admins and techies will find a way to unlock it. :yes

Apparantly there's emails going back and forth. Things are happening behind the scenes. I hope.

When I finally logged back in on the other site it told me I was banned and I was all, "Huh?"
Anyway, glad to see that isn't the case. :wave

Im already logged in and posting at the other forum. Hey, good news, there is no Gremlins in the word editor over there. I did have to use a new forum name and e-mail address to get in. Oh well. :lol
 
MDO, glad you came here. Please do not make new posts in that forum. It would be better for you to just stay here because the database over there is missing several days of current posts. If we go posting in threads over there, then it may be even more confusing when they merge things. Also, there is no way for us to control the spammers, since we don't have mod privies, and we have some foul things over there. Please, just stay here and soon everything will be straightened out. Thanks :thumb

Edit* Also, when they sort everything out, you will have your old account back over there, so posting as your alternate name will prove pointless.

I was very, very angry when I could not log on to the site it reminded me of some years back when Logan was doing some things. And even though I could not log on, I saw Nick's name, what gives Nick, they say it's who you know. Nick who do you know :rolling And poor Jason, has anybody checked on him, did anybody give him some oxygen. :rolling
