If humor is at the expense of His glory, then you're right, my God is humorless. If enjoying the belittlement of himself for humor's sake is a characteristic of your god, then you know a different god than mine.

You may dismiss my warning as a lack of humor, but it would be akin to blowing off the warning that you need to move off the beach and to higher ground because there is a tsunami coming. The warning comes not via pride or some other ill motivation, but rather that you not be swept away.

Some things are deadly serious and should be treated so.
