Does anyone have a suggestion on getting activity started up on a new message board. Besides the normal method of submitting to search engines, which I have done.
Posting on other sites where permitted such as cross talk, and other christian related lists, which I have done.
In looking around the net I noticed some boards are booming, while other equally good ones starve for posters.
I am probably shaking my head to hear the rocks rattle, but there must be some answer. I know it takes time but! I have had several boards of varying subjects in the past. And it takes people clicking on them for them to get seen, it seems all the folks on the net who are interested already have a home board. And I am not out to rob someone else.
Don’t even mention web rings, they don’t work!.
I think it has a lot to do with the personality of the host, but people can’t get to know them if they do not stop by.
