Most of my texts are related to our fishing, hunting, or other outdoor activities. What does that say about me?
I might enjoy reading them though. Because I don't do those things.
You are still a person of interest WIP.

I sometimes wish my underwater camera had a record capability. Yesterday I was fishing on a local lake in about 14' of water. The bottom was rather sandy with a few larger rocks scattered around. My camera is not a top-of-the-line unit so the vision is not the best and the water was a little murky yet but I expect I could see maybe 3' - 4'.

I happened to be watching some perch swimming around on the camera when out of nowhere this thing comes across right in front of the lens nice and slow sort of like a submarine sliding by. It was a northern pike. I do not know how big it really was because the camera lens is a wide-angle view so things look larger than reality but sometimes that adds to the fun. If I was to guess, I'd say it was probably about a 24" - 26" northern, which is not super huge and actually a good eating size.

After it passed by the camera and started moving away, I gave my fishing rod a little jig and the northern made a sharp turn toward my hook. I couldn't see my hook because my camera was close to the bottom and my hook was about 3' off the bottom just out of view. I was expecting it to attack my hook but it only got a little curious so I never did get it into the fish house. Still fun to play with him/her.
Your life is officially more interesting than mine WIP.

Some people don't like having a record of their conversations. So talking is preferable.
I don't always think well on the spot. So texting suits me. Also conversations can continue over days instead of 5 minutes.

Hmmm,
text from dentist for appointment.
text from pharmacy for prescription.
text from band for next practice
text from son with pictures of a roof.
text from daughter talking about grandkids
text from wife with honey do list.
text from buddy with car pictures

what does that say about me lol
That says to me you must be doing something right. Because you are living a happy life as parent and grandparent.

My question is legitimate.
I am being left behind because of texting.
It is taking over the cell phone along with apps.
I do none of it, don't want to know how.
And that part of the world, which has become a big part of the world today, is passing me by.
I'm surprised to read that Rollo. You had no problem finding this forum and posting on here.

its not easy but well in the
meter and historic related texts and messages mostly for me
lol, that one time while thinking about my,church history and I read on the old location of it 666 at two houses on,the same avenue

I don't even know what a pointer is.
a mouse built into the key board are that has no moving parts ,it senses the location you want the cursor to move and also has two buttons below it ,is right and left click.the scroll is on the right of the pointer .

i remember using basic and using dos that had to be installed and turned with an uploaded 5 by 7 floppy disk and a separate one for storing your data in your file ,Windows were in that ,Windows is a dos system ,just instead of loading it daily its built in .

Tandy corp or radio shack and the Commodore ,and Amiga and mac by Apple worked like this ,I learned basic on an apple computer and also Pascal on an Amiga .16 bit monitors was the stuff then
