Pardon me for asking this question,.. but what on Earth would possess a person not to use personal hygiene as I don't believe that it has anything to do with the pandemic.

When I got evicted my church gave me a room without a shower. So I showered at the gym which is now closed so I have not had a real shower in . . .

The major reason people give up on personal hygiene is homelessness and depression. When you are homeless you cannot shower. When you are depressed you don't want to. You just lie in bed/ground and breathe. If you are smart you pray. Depression is like a thief in the night. It steals your will to take care of yourself. I am a homeless advocate and people ask my why homeless people like to sit down on the sidewalk. They are depressed not lazy.

Where homelessness is usually a result of mental health and chemical dependancy combined...
Most of us who are neither of those two things and are happy, healthy, and whole are still having issues putting on pants in the morning.

I find that my bath robe is getting fairly well worn out...strings are coming off of it everywhere... especially the sash I tie it with.

I'm not the only one who is having issues with it.
It seems to be an epidemic with clothing fails lately.
But I will admit that having a created task (making a dining room table) other than work is helping me get dressed on a daily basis.

I'm making a mess with all the paraphernalia associated with the project that I will have to clean up once it is finished...and I need to sweep and mop the kitchen and give it a thorough top to bottom cleaning once again...

But I would rather be going off to work... hanging out with the guys and putting together a building of some kind.
Offices, door factory, fan factory, and whatnot.

Oh well...God has his plan and I am just here to be happy with it.
