Has anyone seen 'the Arrivals' series on the net? I'm halfway through it, it's composed of about 50 parts broken down into about 10 min videos, and it is kind of interesting. I am quite skeptical when it comes to people's opinions on the 'end times' and 'prophecies' as well as the 'conspiracy theory' type aspect of it but it does raise some questions.

I'd link a site that contains all the videos but I'm not sure if that would violate the rules of this site or not. The series looks at 'prophecies' from the Bible, Qu'ran, and Torah and how they are playing out in our present world and looks at the setting up of the antichrist and second coming of Christ. If anyone is interested in watching these videos I can pm them the link or if it is deemed acceptable by the moderators I can post a link otherwise I believe most of the videos can be found on youtube or on random sites on the net. There is one site that has all the episodes on it I'll post if allowed.

I would be interested in some thoughts on it by others especially the Christian point of view on this. Anyways if anyone has an opinion or thought on this series let's hear it.

cheers

I have seen it all.
There are indeed some very interesting ponts. Very educative, specially about symbolics. I think a lot of it can very well be true. Though of course I'm uncomfortable with the message that's basically saying "you Christians got it wrong; Islam is the right religion and the most faithful to God." I do believe that the original Christian message has been twisted and changed by people in position of might, so that they could control people... particularly the Catholic church.
For a lot of people it seems that "conspiracy theory" is a magical formula that can be used to discard any uncomfortable facts, without the need to explore them further! But I believe that not everything there is only a "theory", and there are facts that people can explore about it.
Though for us regular citizens... the possibilities are always limited. A lot is hidden in secret, about politics, science and historical events, and the general public will never get to know of it.

Interesting points Luci. Like every 'conspiracy theory' or myth there is usually some element of truth in it. There is definitely a lean towards Islam in the message but like everything I research it's not so much the source but what is being said and how it weighs in with opposing sources. Kymatica is also a really good film of this nature.

cheers
