Everyone get ready for Watchman Nee.
I was just given a whole bunch of books that he wrote and I'm gonna start writing about all his teachings.
I know some of you may not agree with him.
Too bad.
Not on this forum.
Stay tuned for
Watchman Nee

And the point of announcing this is...what, exactly? Why start a thread to announce you're going to start a thread, and that in a different forum?

Oh?
Will I be starting it in a different forum?
I didn't know that.
Anyway, it is Christian tradition to announce coming attractions.

You said, "Not on this forum," which makes it sound like you weren't going to write in this forum. It may be better in another forum anyway since it will most likely turn into a debate and this is a non-debate forum.

The Latent power of the soul?
The spiritual man?

At some point, your gonna have to also include Jeanne Guyon, if your going to post his writings...

Just sayin.

That was my point.
A non'debate forum.
Otherwise, people will grab hold of it and I'll be left out in the cold.

I thought I would start with "The Salvation of the Soul".

Don't expect nothing today.
Maybe tomorrow or the next day.
I want to build up the suspense a little bit first.

Stayed tuned to discussions fostered by the great Watchman Nee.

Are you sure this is the right forum to post his messages?
One can always question missionaries and the churches they start but this is a non debate forum.
It is exactly where it belongs.
My purpose is not to debate Watchman Nee, but to discuss him and the Scripture he uses to serve Jesus with.

I cannot imagine who would not agree with Nee.
One of the first books I read was Sit, Walk, Stand.
Only 64 pages long.
Concise, to the point and great teachings.

Sit: Our position in Christ
Walk: Our life in the world.
Stand: Our attitude toward the enemy.

To God, To Man, To Satan.

Hope you have it.

I think I've read every Watchman Nee book already, about 30 years ago. He had some wonderful insights that I appreciated at the time and some things I still appreciate. I've also found his downline with "witness" Lee to be interesting, with even better insights, to a point, and grossly misunderstood by some.

A lot of the teachings of both filtered into the local charismatic/pentacostal assemblies back in the day.

Witness Lee teaches Heresy.
