The first resurrection of the dead occurs in chapter 20, many chapters and many centuries after the second coming. Actually, I do not rule out a third coming at that time (so that I am not in violation of the Nicene Creed).

Every eye saw the sign of the Son of Man in the clouds. If it was too cloudy, they soon saw it on Roman armor, and on Roman coins, and in Church art.

Actually, the fulfillment of prophecy in 312 AD increases my faith. Conversely, how could the unfulfillment of any Bible prophecies for close to 2000 years increase anyone's faith?
After the event, we do know the exact day and hour Jesus came into power. John said the Revelation would begin unfolding with speed, and it did. It is evident that the first horseman cannot be in the future (our future) because bows are no longer used in modern combat.
The saints seen in heaven with Jesus are martyrs, and died to get there. A rapture is never mentioned by Jesus, either in the Gospels or the Revelation. EDITED
Each one of the kingdoms of the 5 horsemen last for a thousand years or longer. The kingdom that Constantine founded lasted until 1453. Judgement day (i.e., the white throne judgement) is after the reign of the 5th horseman
The second coming of Jesus was on Oct. 28th, 312 AD when the sign of the Son of Man appeared in the clouds, and Jesus came into power through St. Constantine who rode a white horse and conquered with a bow. And he sent his messengers with a trumpet and gathered the elect of all the Church...
There is no rapture because Jesus never mentioned one. Instead, He said it will be as in the days of Noah and Lot, when the bad guys were taken and the good guys left. I pray that I will be one of those "left behind" to rule with Jesus for a thousand years.
