Terms Of Service

At ChristianForums.Net, all of our site policy is built around one common theme: To create a Christian community that is One Spirit, One Body, One forum. Our aim is to provide a place where Christians can fellowship together in a welcoming environment, for encouragement, inspiration, and strengthening in the word of God, that we all might be built up together in Christ. To that end:

1.1: Any posting which fosters the fruit of the Holy Spirit and the building up of this community will be encouraged. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, long-suffering, and brotherly friendship are the focus here, and we will promote the work and involvement of any members if they exemplify the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ and His teachings.

1.2: This is a Christian site, therefore any repeated attempts to deride Christianity and its basic tenets will be deleted. This includes anti-Christian memes, videos, URLs and avatars. Active promotion of other Religions in opposition to Christianity is likewise not permitted.

1.3: The posting of Jehovah's Witness and Gnostic doctrines are strictly forbidden at CFN, and any posts deemed to identify a member as such will result in a ban at staff's discretion. The same applies to those who post doctrines viewed as gross misrepresentations of orthodox Christian beliefs.

1.4: Posting sexually explicit material is subject to an immediate ban, as is any continued promotion of any behavior regarded as sinful. Posting solicitation is not allowed except by staff approval, and anyone discovered to be fishing for members of this community in any way will be permanently banned from the forum.

1.5: Persistently engaging others in "debate" yet repeatedly dodging questions posted in reply is regarded as a punishable offense, and subject to bans of varying lengths, depending upon how egregious or habitual the practice is.

1.6: Non-Christians are only permitted to post in the Question & Answers section, and those who identify as Christians will be held accountable to conduct themselves as such. Goading, mocking, insulting, trolling, berating or inciting other members to anger and resentment are punishable offenses, and disciplinary actions will be taken against those whom staff regards to be naming the name of Christ yet holding the truth in unrighteousness.

1.7: Discussion of politics is currently not allowed at CFN, given the divisive and often hostile interactions that result.

1.8: Non-English videos are not permitted, even if there are subtitles. All videos posted will be considered to have been vetted by the member who posts it. Any video that is found to contain vulgarity, sexual content, heretical doctrine or anything else that goes against the ToS, will be removed and the member subject to discipline.

1.9: If you feel that any action taken was unfair, it can be appealed. To appeal an action, start a new thread in the ‘Talk With the Staff’ (TWTS) forum. Threads in this forum are viewable only by the person initiating the thread and CF.net staff. Whether a member agrees or disagrees with a Moderator's decision, they are not to make their opinion public.

1.10: Threads started by members are not to be considered as their personal property or otherwise "owned".

1.11: Each member must have only one account, and holding multiple accounts is grounds for being banned. Only those who have created an accurate account are permitted to participate in the community. Registering with false information is also grounds for having their access to the christianforums.net community blocked. Misrepresentation of age, gender, location or identity in the forums is also prohibited.

1.12: All members must be at least 13 years old.

1.13: Do not use this site for illegal purposes. If such activity is discovered, the proper authorities will be notified, including the police and your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Christianforums.net hereby states that we intend to cooperate fully with the proper authorities in the effort to enforce, to the full extent of the law, any illegal activity and the consequences thereof.

1.14: Do not attempt to circumvent the security on the site. This includes attempting to gain access to an account which is not your own. This includes but is not limited to staff, restricted areas, servers or databases etc.

1.15: The contents of private conversations with members or staff are to be kept strictly confidential. Staff reserves the right to share private messages among themselves for purposes of moderation duties.
