Terms Of Service

1.0: At ChristianForums.Net, all of our site policy is built around one common theme: To create a Christian community that is One Spirit, One Body, One forum. Our aim is to provide a place where Christians can fellowship together in a welcoming environment, for encouragement, for mutual inspiration, and for strengthening in the word of God, that all might be built up together in their Christian faith. We encourage honest, open but courteous discussion that fascilitaes study, meditation, reflection and growth in the things of God. To that end:

1.1: Any posting which fosters the fruit of the Holy Spirit and the building up of this community will be encouraged. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, long-suffering, and brotherly friendship are the focus here, and we will promote the work and involvement of any members if they exemplify the Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ and His teachings.

1.2: Anyone who is not a Christian is only permitted to post in the Question and Answers section, and those who identify themselves as Christians will be held accountable to conduct themselves as such. If they are truly governed by the Holy Spirit, they will not continually engage in goading, mocking, insulting, trolling, berating or inciting other members to anger and resentment. They will post in a Spirit of kindness and respect, even if there are doctrinal disagreements, and be quick to reconcile if differences of opinion should get heated. Disciplinary actions will be taken against those whom staff regards to be naming the name of Christ and yet are holding the truth in unrighteousness.

1.3: Each member must have only one account, and holding multiple accounts is grounds for being banned. Only those who have created an accurate account are permitted to participate in the community. Registering with false information is also grounds for having their access to the christianforums.net community blocked. Misrepresentation of age, gender, location or identity in the forums is also prohibited.

1.4: Posting sexually explicit material is subject to an immediate ban, as is posting spam or solicitation. Also, anyone discovered to be fishing for members of this community in any way will be permanently banned from the forum.

1.5: Jehovahs Witnesses, Monists, Unitarians and Gnostics are forbidden from joining CF.Net, and any posts deemed to identify a member as any of the above will result in a ban at staff's discretion. The teaching of JW and Gnostic doctrines are forbidden at this site.

1.6: Do not use this site for illegal purposes. If such activity is discovered, the proper authorities will be notified, including the police and your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Christianforums.net hereby states that we intend to cooperate fully with the proper authorities in the effort to enforce, to the full extent of the law, any illegal activity and the consequences thereof.

1.7: Do not attempt to circumvent the security on the site. This includes attempting to gain access to an account which is not your own. This includes but is not limited to staff, restricted areas, servers or databases etc.

1.8: The contents of private conversations with members or staff are to be kept strictly confidential. Staff reserves the right to share private messages among themselves for purposes of moderation duties.

1.10 Active promotion of sinful behavior--as understood to be against historic, biblical Christianity, as interpreted by christianforums.net Leadership's sole discretion--will not be permitted. Any attempt to dissuade a member from belief in Christianity or otherwise promote unbiblical behaviour that could cause a member to move away from Christ, which will be at the discretion of staff, will result in immediate removal from the discussion. Repeated attempts, either in public or private, may result in termination of your membership.

1.11: This is a Christian site, therefore, any repeated attempt to put down Christianity (or declare that it is false) and the basic tenets of our Faith will be considered a hostile act. This includes but is not limited to anti-Christian memes, videos, and URLs. Such content that is offending or disturbing to other board users may be removed at the discretion of the christianforums.net Staff. Please read: Statement of Faith.

1.12: Active promotion of other Religions is not allowed.

1.13: All members must be at least 13 years old.

1.14: If you feel that any action taken was unfair, it can be appealed. To appeal an action, start a new thread in the ‘Talk With the Staff’ (TWTS) forum. Threads in this forum are viewable only by the person initiating the thread and CF.net staff. Whether a member agrees or disagrees with a Moderator's decision, they are not to make their opinion public.
