I'm so sorry what happened to you! That's awful!

I hope and pray that they found a home together as well. Yeah, I used to be allergic to cats too when I was a child, but whether they were mine, somebody else's, or the cats at the shelter that I used to volunteer at as a teenager, I have practically been around them my whole entire life. I just wasn't expecting to lose one (Jasmine) by her breaking out the screen door in the middle of the night.
I just hope she is happy with a home somewhere and loved. At least we never discovered her body lying on the side of the road though so I'm hoping and praying that she is still alive and she gets back to us if possible unless she is really happy with another family somewhere else, then I would want her to stay with them since we have Jessie now which by the way was rescued as a stray from a friend of the family. She was dumped in the middle of the night in a rainstorm at a gas station.
Which I can't even begin to understand by the way. She may be a bit feisty sometimes, but she wouldn't be much of a cat if she wasn't. Other than that she is the most sweetest, cuddly, and loveable cats ever. The only reason why the friend of the family couldn't keep her is because the other cats that they had kept beating her up and they had too many cats as it was anyway. Besides the fact that they were already aware of the cat we lost.
