As promised StoveBolts and everybody else,.. here ya go!



This first picture was taken on the airplane when I was arriving in New Mexico.










This next picture is from the hike we had where the petroglyphs were. The first picture is one with carvings on it and the second one is where the volcanic ash is pictured in the background. (stay tuned for that one)

Now the top picture is the tent rocks and the bottom one is when I was up on top of Sandia peak.

I like the tent rocks. It reminded me a little of Bryce Canyon....my favorite place ...

Very nice pictures. The petroglyphs seem to have been pecked out of the rock by striking a pointed tool. Did you learn anything about how they were done, or about the people who made them?

No not too much. We did watch a video but I don't remember all that much about it to be honest.
