How do you know when to stop praying for loved one deliverance?

I’m dealing with a loved one who’s been suffering from addiction for years. I’ve prayed for them over the years cried given up prayed some more wanted to ditch them but God said to stay so I started incorporating fasting praying more harder that I even received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and I started praying for them in tongues as well.

The thing happening: My prayers in the spirit for them usually when I start praying in the spirit I start breaking down crying and just moan to God I don’t know what I’m saying and it’s definitely not me crying I’ve cried so much on the matter I’ve got no tears left this only happens when I pray in the spirit for them.

Anyways lately whenever I try to pray for them in the spirit I pray for a little while there’s no more groaning and crying but then it stops. So I restart same thing goes for a little while then stops. So I’ve been asking God why won’t my spirit keep praying then I think does this mean it’s over? I haven’t gotten a call or anything but then again how do you know when addiction is gone for good? I received the prayer in tongue because I was begging God for it I was telling him I have nothing left to say on my situation and dont know what to pray for anymore and one day I received the gift… anyways I’m just confused for anyone who prays in tongues does it ever happen when you’re interceding for someone it goes then stops for a while?

Also how do you know when to stop praying for deliverance? Another thing that was put in my spirit is that God was going to bring permanent deliverance I know that for sure I just don’t know when.

I know there’s a lot going on but it’s all led to the question above overall how do you know when to stop praying for deliverance for a loved one because God has answered? Thank you.

You never had your conscience speak to you? And come to think
of it, the deaf don’t use their voice at all.
Yes, of course I have. But do you think your conscience is God speaking to you?

You mean audibly? Well, there's actually no guarantee. It's like all other things in the spiritual life. "Those who are His know His voice, and another they will not follow." (John 10:5)
Yes, audibly. I never hear His voice. Dorothy seems to imply conscience is God. I feel like I'm in a pitch black room looking for a black cat. Lol.

I do agree that the conscience is important in hearing from God. There are scriptures to back it up. But there are also scriptures that suggest the conscience is entirely dependent upon what we KNOW to be right and wrong, which can make it unreliable at best. If our minds have not yet been made aware that what we are doing is wrong, there is really no way for the conscience to correct things in and of itself. The Spirit of God must speak, and alert the believer that they are mistaken in what they are supposing to be true (whether pre-supposing things to be good OR bad mistakenly).

God is preparing you to take that loved one through delverance; to cast out the unclean spirit that is driving them.

The job of the Holy Spirit is to “convict us of sin” which is what we call the conscience. If God can speak through a donkey, He can speak through the conscience. Do you see what I mean? Why wouldn’t that be God telling us we did wrong?

Ah, you’ve made an error in jumping to a conclusion. Speaking THROUGH a medium does not mean the speaker BECOMES the medium. If a man speaks through a microphone, the mic isn’t then the man. Do you see what I mean?

Jeremiah 8:22. Is thier no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? Why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?. Because they lack faith. They wont repent sins to God and come to the cross. I'm not judging anyone. If some one chooses to be drunkard. Is he or she going to blame the liquor store owner?. I'm pre diabetic. I stopped drinking soda last year and changed my diet. My doctor gave me the results last week. I'm improving, and on the right path. My health is fine. Am I going to blame the coca cola company for my bad choice over 30 years. I aslo lost weight which is good. Jeremiah 5:23. But this people hath a revolting and rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone. Some people don't want to listen to Jesus. The only way to kingdom of God is through Jesus. Many people are spiritually polluted listening to traditions of men at denominations. Thier spirtualty dead. God hates traditions of men and false doctrine. 5:25. Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have with Holden good things from you. 5:31. The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means ; and My people love to have it so and what will ye do in the end thereof?. Some churches teach rapture theory, which is false doctrine. God hates the fly away doctrine. Pastors and priests have failed in their capacity to nourish their flocks. Won't teach old testament or revelation or who kenites are. The congregation is defenseless against antichrist lies and deception near future. Get the picture. Many people are going for Balm. It won't heal them. It won't deliver them. Jesus will let satan as antichrist have his way with majority of biblically illiterate people near future. Thier balm won't save them. Many people end up in hell, called sheol. It's holding place for the spirtualty dead or wicked. Luke chapter 16, there's two sides of the gulf. Paradise and sheol. Many people are in sheol. Balm is dead end street. Get the picture.

The Lord knows those who are His, the same way as a parent knows their own children. The parent in normal circumstances, guards their child, before they are born, and is there at that moment, and continues to be there, as much as their life allows. ( all the time if they can)

God shows how He does with HIs only begotten Son, protected from birth, grown in wisdom, subject to Joseph and Mary, prepared then given to Israel, sharing all the Father has shown for us all, which is the greatest love of God, to lay His life down for us. Christ showed how the Father had not left Him, for He did always those things that please Him. Jesus also showed how He had lost none, and would raise them up again at the last day, all being ne together. ( of who the Father had given Him, and prayed for them, who He had given Him, and not for the world.)

The deliverance then, was always, always prepared, always being done in every detail, until all was finished. It cant be partial, it cant be without full understanding and belief, because that is not how God has shown to us all things.

Also questions and answers cant be faithful too, or even a forum, what is faithful is God, no questions and answering going on there, only faith, and only truth, which is God freely giving us al things because He gave HIs only begotten Son for us to live.

John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Romans 8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

You cannot force God to force another person to come to Him. All you can do is remain faithful in what God has said for you to do and leave the rest to Him. Your goal ought always to be to continue in well-doing, not slacking or wondering about God's timing, but obeying Him no matter the result. So pray always, with perseverance; live out a godly life before others; love God above all; die to yourself so that the life of Christ might properly manifest in and through you; serve others in holiness, truth and love. What God might, or might not, do as a result is His affair, not yours.

What does it mean to "pray in the Spirit"? Do you know what God says in His word is necessary to praying in the Spirit?

Ecclesiastes 5:2
2 Do not be hasty in word or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few.

Matthew 6:7-8
7 "And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many words.
8 "So do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.

How do you know it was God who put this idea "in your spirit"? How do you know it wasn't just your own self-talk, or maybe a deception of the devil?

These days, we need to watch ourselves, because there us only flattery and pretense around, so we are told to pray for our own selves, to not be deceived, as the whole world is deceived, and deceiving right now.

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

How do we know how to really follow Jesus ? To do as He did ( having nowhere to lay His head) Why hear the false ones who do nothing now instead.

Matthew 8:19 And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.
20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
21 And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.
22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.
