I just got through watching a sermon by Olsteen because he just happened to be on as I was flipping through the channels. This particular sermon was about not remembering what God has forgotten and I will have to admit that it was pretty good, I didn't hear him say anything heritcal or anything...

Amen Reba! I have matured a lot since my youth too and still have a long way to go. I pray that Joel Osteen matures as well. I am not trying to say that he has more maturing to do than I do, he is open and honest about these views he has that many consider contrary to scripture.

Surely Joel knew that Mormons believe in a different Jesus despite Romney not specifically saying that in the interview. I can see how a Christian attending a gay wedding so that at least there is someone there to be a Christlike example and maybe speak up about the truth of the matter might...

Brother Mike I think people do need to be informed of a pastor preaching that Mormons need not worry about Jesus being the only way. I don't think many pastors have all the doctrines all correct, but Osteen's claim about Mormons is clearly wrong.
