If the Big Bang was the beginning of time itself then there is no "before". Because "before" would require time. But we can assume God exists outside of time. Like the author of a novel exists outside the novel's timeframe. The author usually has an overview of the story's course (or possible...
That's very pretty. But it's a unusual wedding gown colour in western cultures... unless it is a very special wedding, like between two professed goths.
But we usually wear black at funerals to express grief. So if a bride shows up in black people will think she's sad about getting married or...
Oh he was a very awesome pirate. You should watch the movie if you haven't, it's funny and almost family friendly. Except for all the creepy skeleton pirates.
Well that would confirm my idea that he's from a backward culture. :lol
Not sure my social-pedagogical skills are sufficient for managing such a difficult case though.
Well basically yes. That's what a private account would be for. There are some limits though. Spending his money on something dangerous or something that is bad for his marriage or his values should be beyond his individual liberty(and then the wife would have the duty and the right to speak...
Yeah he (I think it's a he) keeps posting that kind of threads. Either he's from a somewhat backward culture, or he's doing this for his personal entertainment. He's probably too young to have actual women issues.
Like everyone said... if you have a joined bank account you should both manage it, or agree on putting one of you in charge of it. It's up to you who should do it. Either the one who is better at it, or the one who's not as good at it as the other so he/she has a learning opportunity. Gender...
Could you stop your debate for a moment and empathise with me?
Because I live in that part of the world that is MISSING a blood moon eclipse - for the friggin' SECOND TIME THIS YEAR?!? :angry3:angry3:angry3
Any school needs to prepare kids for their future careers, and that may include an academic career. So they have to teach them science.
Creationism is pseudoscience. Why does a "Christian curriculum" have to include pseudoscience?
Sorry to hear it was confusing for you but that is no...
Nope. The theory of evolution is proven (in scientific terms) quite well. Because that's part of what the word "theory" means in science.
And creationism does not even remotely fulfil the criteria for being a theory.
Of course no school should teach kids pseudoscience. Unless for the purpose of warning them that there's a lot of hogwash out there and teaching them how to tell real science and hogwash apart.
For many of us things don't go as straight and ideal as you'd wish. Some people had ex-partners because they weren't Christians their entire life. Some people may have lost their parents early in their life so they couldn't have be living in their father's house any more even if they wished...
Well if you take into consideration that the biggest Jewish community is in the USA and that in our day and age everything is visible from everywhere in real time I wouldn't buy into the visibility argumentation.
It's still silly to see the lunar eclipse as a warning of some biblical disaster...
