I wonder if there are secret agents- real life James Bonds?

I think we had one in our dojo. When you asked him what he did, he'd reply that he was a writer, but the look in his eyes said he wasn't a writer. Then someone noticed he was always being sent to world hotspots- 6 months before they became hot.

My theory was that if he wasn't the actual trigger-man, he was at least writing up the profiles on people that the CIA needed "marginalized".

The international Spy Museum in Washington DC is all about stuff like that.

Then I also had an uncle in the Green Beret during the '60's...which isn't Rambo stuff but actually intelligence gathering and my Uncle was a guy who could type.
So he typed up the reports.

Yes, we assassinate people and if we don't we get an ally to do it.

And you really don't want to know more than that.

We had a CIA investigator in our unit in Korea (peacetime). Until he just left one day, everyone thought he was just a dufus, know-nothing private (baggy uniform, messed-up hair, kind of a lost-in-space attitude) who didn't fit in with any of us. We ignored him... which probably made his work much easier to carry out.

There's prolly agents all over. I've tried to look for 'em before but I've prolly never been right. They're just too good.

When we vacationed in 'Vegas my fav game was spot the security in the hotel casino. (They're plain clothes). I know I spotted at least two of them. Ultimately, they're just men.

Yes ,we have still have espionage.if I talk i have find you and kill you.

My friend who had contacts in the CIA and FBI (I met one) said you go to any major crowded location, and they're are agents all over- from both sides. He could usually spot them. They know who our guys are, and we know who their guys are. They're like carrying Sigs and H&Ks (Uzis in the old days). It's all a game.

Well well well another reason to be paranoid.

jk :D

They keep there friends close and there enemys closer.

Rule 1. Never trust anyone. :)

Rule 2. Whatever you do, dont tell anyone. :)

Rule 3. There is no rule 3. :)

Thats only for people who have something to hide

Which, I guess a secret agent does.

Its common sense as well for general living. There was a guy who boasted at the local club he was going away on holiday and he come back to find his house empty. So its always wise to keep many things personal and not tell anyone.

And looks can be deceiving, the nicest guy could easy be the hardest gangster, you just dont know. So its not good to just trust anyone.

Just general knowledge really. Its not all about hiding anything.

Spies? Sure, probably plenty of them.
James Bonds? Unlikely :p
... Unless Eilean Donan castle really IS the headquarters of MI6 :o

What spies dont realise is there is a spy who is spying on the spy who is spying on the spier. Knowone is safe. lol.

( I have no idea if I spell all the spies right )

Absolutely yes! Before Ian Flemming wrote the books he was a Handler and he wrote the books based on one man he handled. That is what the CIA Agents do also. They don't need to murder much because our Black Ops Rangers and Seals are very good at that. One of my sons was a Black Ops Ranger until he injured his shoulder and the Army gave him a medical discharge for the injury. And Israel exists because of the effective work of their spies.

Once I asked our dojo ninja guy what kind of writer he was, and he replied, "mostly character studies". Tell me this guy wasn't in intelligence. And no, real spies don't look anything like they do in the movies. They look like your next-door neighbor.
